The  Group works principally within the area of the Hull Valley, East Yorkshire, for the promotion, awareness and appreciation of the region`s natural history.

The Groups main base is at Tophill Low Nature Reserve at Watton, where we have a members hut.

Many of the group members volunteer for activities within the reserve such as conservation and management of the habitat. We also have voluntary wardens who help out  on site as required.

The main aims of the group are to :

Educate the Public in the natural history of the area.

To preserve , protect and improve the natural history of the area
