The new Hempholme Meadow area of Tophill Low has come on a treat during the last few months with hard work from both contractors and our group volunteers. The cleared area seems to be a hit with birds already with regular sightings of Short-eared Owls over the cleared area and surrounding fields.  The latest addition to the area is that of a new hide overlooking the new scrapes. Lets hope all the planning and hard work which has gone into the construction of this new area proves rewarding.
